THE LEGEND GROWS
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

By Jack Pfeiffer

Nintendo has done it again! The Legend of Zelda series traditionally has always been recognized as being of the greatest games to date. Nintendo never ceases to impress with their newest version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The game-play is rich and the story compelling.

Finally. This is a game that takes advantage of Wii’s graphics abilities. Basically they’re amazing. Well, at least they’re not bad. If you’ve played a recent Zelda game previously, then you will remember that annoying fairy that won’t let you do anything without talking to her. I’m guessing that the creative guys over at Nintendo thought that she was just as annoying as every player else did because this game doesn’t force you to talk to the fairy as in previous games.

Using the Wii version of this game, you can swing the controller to make Link swing his sword. Okay, so after about an hour, the novelty of swinging wears thin and it becomes more of a chore than fun.

Overall, this is a great game; definitely a buy. You’ll find yourself playing the game for hours on end until you complete it.

Tips to Success:

  1. Listen! If you are stuck, talk to other characters AND LISTEN TO WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY!!! Even if you’re hesitant to listen in order beat the game, it does help. Really.
  2. Keep trying. The game gets challenging at times, but if you just stick to it, you’ll eventually get through it. The only other option is that you’ll get so fed up with the action that you’ll just stop playing. Either way, you will get a lot of hours of game-play out of the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
  3. 3. Look around. Not only is the environment built out to be mesmerizing, often times looking around will allow you to see. The scenery can provide you with ideas about how to get past an obstacle or hidden item.
